Terms and conditions
Scope and contracting party
These terms govern use of Krankschreibung per Video at krankschreibung-per-video.de. The platform operator and contracting party is Drylabs GmbH, Straße der Jugend 18, 14974 Ludwigsfelde, Germany, represented by managing director Mithat Arda. Contact: kontakt@krankschreibung-per-video.de. Individual agreements take precedence over these terms; no particular form is required for such agreements.
Service and medical responsibility
The service is for adults aged 18 and over. Independent, licensed doctors assess your symptoms by video and decide whether you are unable to work. Drylabs GmbH provides the technical platform and arranges access to the medical service. Doctors are bound by professional confidentiality.
The certificate normally starts on the consultation date if the medical assessment confirms incapacity for work. Backdating requires a careful medical assessment and this service limits it to three days. A plausible account alone does not establish entitlement; the doctor must assess the individual clinical findings. Certificates cover at most three calendar days in total, including any days before the consultation. This service does not extend existing certificates; contact a medical practice if further assessment is needed. Contact us on the first day of illness where possible and describe your symptoms truthfully. There is no entitlement to a certificate. You receive a PDF to submit to your employer yourself. There is no eAU or transmission to your health insurer. Acceptance by employers or insurers is not guaranteed.
This is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 112; for the medical on-call service call 116 117.
Account and contract formation
You must provide complete and truthful information. Registration is your offer to enter a platform agreement, accepted when your account is activated. Booking is an offer to enter a treatment contract, accepted by email confirmation or when the doctor starts the consultation.
Fees and payment
Medical services are charged under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). €10.72 is reserved before the consultation (no. 1, factor 2.3). At booking the amount is only reserved. The amount actually incurred under the GOÄ is charged only after the consultation; you receive the invoice as a PDF. With a visual examination billed by analogy to GOÄ no. 5, the fee is €21.44 before time supplements. The consultation is charged even if no certificate is issued.
Time supplements depend on the services provided and the conditions of the German medical fee schedule. Supplement B is €10.49 outside consultation hours between 8 and 10 pm or 6 and 8 am. Supplement C is €18.65 between 10 pm and 6 am; it cannot be combined with B. Supplement D is €12.82 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, reduced to €6.41 during Saturday consultation hours. Between 8 pm and 8 am, D may combine with B or C when their conditions apply. The total price comprises the applicable consultation fee plus any supplements permitted in your case. If no consultation takes place, the reservation is released; cancellation details are explained in the terms.
Payments are processed by Stripe using the methods displayed at checkout. If no consultation takes place, the reservation is released. Displayed prices are final; qualifying medical treatment is exempt from VAT under section 4 no. 14 UStG.
Patients with statutory insurance pay themselves; there is no direct billing to statutory insurers. Privately insured patients may submit their invoice. Reimbursement depends on the insurer and is not guaranteed.
Withdrawal and cancellation
Where a statutory withdrawal right applies to a platform agreement, the period is 14 days. If you expressly request an early start, it expires on full performance subject to statutory conditions (section 356(4) BGB). The statutory distance-contract withdrawal right does not apply to medical treatment contracts (section 312(2) no. 7 BGB).
Cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment receives a full refund. For later cancellation or non-attendance, any payment claim is subject to the applicable statutory conditions. No flat cancellation fee is agreed; savings and alternative earnings are credited where required by law.
Your cooperation
Provide complete and truthful information on symptoms and pre-existing conditions and tell the doctor about all circumstances relevant to treatment. Keep login details secure and attend on time. You need identification, a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection.
Liability
Drylabs GmbH has unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Liability for slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual duties is limited to foreseeable loss typical of the contract. Treating doctors are responsible for their treatment under applicable law. Uninterrupted technical availability is not guaranteed.
Privacy and account closure
Our privacy notice explains how your data is processed. Health data serves the booked service and is stored encrypted within the EU. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us by email. Statutory retention duties remain, including ten years for treatment records. Accounts may be suspended or closed for misuse or breaches of these terms.
Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection in your EU country of residence remains unaffected. Potsdam is the place of jurisdiction for merchants and public-law entities. Invalidity of one provision does not affect the remaining provisions.
